5 things you need to know about the 76ers today

Five things you need to know about the 76ers today:

1.  Jerryd Bayless will make more than $3 million per game this season because of season-ending surgery on his left wrist.  The point guard played in just three games and will get paid $9.4 this season.

2.   The New Orleans Pelicans must have a thing for former Sixers point guards. They acquired Jrue Holiday from the Sixers for Nerlens Noel in the summer of 2013. And former Sixer Tim Frazier resigned with the Pelicans this summer. He first joined the team via a 10-day deal last season before latching on for the rest of the season.

3. Nik Stauskas is listed as probable for tonight's game against the Pelicans.  He missed Sunday's game against the Brooklyn Nets with left knee tendinitis.

4. The Sixers have a winning record against the Pelicans since the start of the 2014-15 season. They are 3-2 against New Orleans in the last five meetings.

5.  Joel Embiid has scored 20 or more points in eight games this season. The rookie with the second-most 20-point performance is Denver guard Jamal Murray, with four.
