MCW not traveling to Charlotte

The Sixers point guard is staying home due to right knee soreness

Point guard Michael Carter-Williams didn't make the trip to Charlotte for Friday's game with the Bobcats due to a right knee soreness.

He did not participate in practice on Thursday, but afterwards, said he planned to go to Charlotte and test his knee in the shootaround.

Those plans changed and the Sixers said he would remain in Philadelphia for further evaluation and continued treatment.

His status is officially listed as day-to-day, but it would be surprising if Carter-Williams was able to play Saturday at the Wells Fargo Center against the Denver Nuggets.
