Five things to know about the 76ers today

Five things you need to know about the 76ers today:

1.  T.J. McConnell keeps proving that he belongs in the NBA. The Sixers' reserve point guard ranks 10th in a NBA with a 3.21 assist-to-turnover  ratio.

2.  Hollis Thompson hasn't made a shot in the Sixers' last two games. He was  a combined 0-for-5 in  games against the New Orleans Pelicans (Tuesday) and Brooklyn Nets (Sunday).

3. The Sixers are 1-3 in games with Jahlil Okafor and Joel Embiid together in the starting lineup.

4. Robert Covington has been a solid defender, who collects a lot of steals. However, he's only had one steal in the team's last four games.

5. The Sixers find themselves back in sole possession of last place in the NBA. They have a record of 7-21, while the Dallas Mavericks are a ½-game ahead at 7-20.
