76ers to hold 2nd pre-draft workouts on Friday
The 76ers will hold their second pre-draft workouts on Friday, hosting six prospects led by 6-foot-7 Baylor senior Taurean Prince and 6-7 junior Jaron Blossomgame of Clemson.
The other four players are Wichita State 6-0 senior point guard Fred Van Vleet, Columbia senior guard Maodo Lo, San Diego State's 6-8 senior Winston Shepard and the one local product, St. Joseph's senior forward Isaiah Miles.
Prince increased his scoring average each season at Baylor. He averaged 15.9 points and 6.7 rebounds this past season.
Blossomgame also increased his scoring each year at Clemson and averaged 18.7 points and 6.7 rebounds this year.
Wichita State's VanVleet was the Missouri Valley Player of the Year for the second time. This season he averaged 12.2 points and 5.5 assists.
The 6-3 Lo averaged 16.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists for Columbia.
San Diego State's Shepard averaged 11.3 points and 6.4 rebounds.
The 6-8 Miles was among the most improved players in the country and helped lead the Hawks to their second NCAA appearance in the past three years.
Miles averaged 18.1 points and 8.1 rebounds. He holds the St. Joseph's record for career free throw percentage (84.0), having connected on 210 of 250 foul shots.
