Jusuf Nurkic is averaging 14.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists in the seven games played since being acquired in a trade from the Denver Nuggets. He scored at least 15 points in four straight games.
Reserve Meyers Leonard, averaged 8.5 points while shooting 66.7 percent in the last four games. Another reserve, Al-Farouq Aminu, averaged 13.7 points and 7.9 rebounds and shot 47.8 percent on three-pointers in the last 10 games.
And reserve Allen Crabbe is starting to live up to the four-year, $75 million contract he signed over the summer.
All those things have Portland attempting to win four consecutive games when it faces the Sixers on Thursday night.

Lillard finished with a game-high 30 points. McCollum added 16 for the Blazers.
Embiid suffered his bone bruise to his left knee during this game.
