Best and Worst awards: Sixers vs. Kings
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – This is my look at some of the best and worst performances from the 76ers' 110-105 victory over the Sacramento Kings Wednesday night at Sleep Train Arena
Best performance: This goes to Jerami Grant on night when his 76ers teammate Nerlens Noel finished with a season-high 20 points. But Grant scored 16 points on 4-for-6 shooting – including going 2 of 3 on three-pointers. The power forward also finished with 11 rebounds, five blocks and two steals.
Worst performance: I had to give this to Nik Stauskas. The Sixers reserve shooting guard shot 1-for-7 from the field to finish with three points.
Best defensive performance: Grant wins this award. In addition to his blocks and steals, eight of his 11 rebounds came on the defensive end.
Best performance in a losing effort: Reserve forward Marco Belinelli gets this award after finishing with a season-high 28 points. He made 11 of 17 field goals, including going 3 of 6 on three-pointers.
Worst statistic: This award goes to the Kings foul shooting. They missed 16 free-throw attempts (25 of 41).
Best statistic: I'm giving this to the Sixers rebounding. They grabbed a season-high 53, including season-high tying 16 on the offensive end.
