Carter-Williams gets all-defensive team vote
Michael Carter-Williams received a vote for the NBA's all-defensive team, the league announced on Monday.
This comes after the 76ers point guard won the rookie of the year and was named to the all-rookie team.
Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah, Indiana Pacers forward Paul George, Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul, Oklahoma City Thunder power forward Serge Ibaka and Golden State Warriors swingman Andre Iguodala, a former Sixer, were named to the all-defensive first team on Monday.
Miami Heat forward LeBron James, Houston Rockets point guard Patrick Beverley, Bulls guard Jimmy Butler, San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard and Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert garnered second-team honors.
