Dario Saric named Euroleague MVP for November

Although he's not yet suiting up for the Sixers, lottery pick Dario Saric is playing some solid basketball.

Saric - who was selected by the Orlando Magic with the 12th pick in the 2014 Draft and then traded to the Sixers for the rights to Elfrid Payton - was named Euroleague MVP for the month of November.

The multi-faceted forward averaged 15.5 points and 7.7 rebounds for Turkey's Anadolu Efes throughout November.

At 20 years and seven months old, Saric is the youngest Euroleague MVP of the Month ever. Prior to Saric, the previous youngest winner was Bulls rookie forward Nikola Mirotic, who won the award in December of 2011. Mirotic is averaging 6.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in 17 minutes per game for the Bulls this season.

Prior to the NBA Draft, Saric signed a contract that will keep him in Turkey for at least two seasons. It is unlikely that he joins the Sixers any earlier. The Sixers continue to hold his NBA rights until he comes over to the league.

While the Sixers could certainly use his on-court contributions now, his overseas play is promising nonetheless.
