Eugene Burroughs has moved from an assistant role on the 76ers' coaching staff to the head job with their D-League affiliate, the Delaware 87ers.

Eugene Burroughs has moved from an assistant role on the 76ers' coaching staff to the head job with their D-League affiliate, the Delaware 87ers.

The move from the Wells Fargo Center to Newark is part of a swap of coaches between the Sixers and the Sevens. Kevin Young, Delaware's head coach for the last two seasons, will come to Philadelphia to work as an assistant. So will John Bryant, a Saint Joseph's alum who has been an assistant with the Sevens for the last two seasons.
