Five things you need to know about the 76ers today

Five things you need to know about the 76ers today

1. All signs point to Joel Embiid running away with the Sixers scoring title after he scored 22 points in Monday's victory. That marked the fifth time he scored 20 or more points, while no other teammate has more than one 20-point game.

2. The Sixers take a four-game home winning streak into Wednesday's matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies. The last time they won four consecutive home games was Jan. 28 to Feb. 7, 2015.

3. The Sixers are way ahead of last season's victory pace, winning their fourth contest in game No. 14.  The Sixers didn't win their fourth game last season until Jan. 4, the 37th game of the season.

4. Embiid (three) and Dario Saric (two) aren't the only Sixers with multiple double-doubles. Ersan Ilyasova posted his second double-double Monday with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

5. We will get a better idea of how good the Sixers are on Wednesday against the Grizzlies. The Sixers' last four games came against teams that mirror them: injured with losing records.
