Okafor to miss Jazz matchup

SALT LAKE CITY – As expected, Jahlil Okafor will miss his second consecutive game because of a sore right knee when the 76ers face the Utah Jazz on Monday night at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

The rookie center is expected to return for Wednesday's game against the Sacramento Kings at Sleep Train Arena.

The 6-foot-11, 265-pounder is the leading scorer at 17.6 points for the Sixers (2-30).

The Jazz (12-16) could be without three key players. Power forward Derrick Favors is questionable. He missed the morning shootaround while battling back spasms. Center Rudy Gobert (Grade II MCL sprain in left knee) and reserve guard Alec Burk (fractured left fibula) are out.
