Orton to serve one-game suspension
Daniel Orton, the 76ers backup center, and Portland Trail Blazers reserve center Meyers Leonard will both serve one-game suspensions without pay for their altercation with 7 minutes, 19 seconds remaining in Saturday's game at the Wells Fargo Center.
Leonard body-slammed Orton to the floor in the Blazers' 139-105 victory. Orton responded with an elbow to Leonard's mouth. Both players were ejected from the game.Orton will sit out Monday's game against the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center. Leonard didn't participate in the Blazers' game against Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Sunday night.
