Simmons favored to win NBA rookie of the year

Power forward Ben Simmons is the early favorite to be named NBA rookie of the year, according to Bovada.lv. The online betting site gives the 76ers first overall pick 13 to 4 odds to win the season-ending award. New Orleans Pelicans guard Buddy Hield has the second-best odds at 11 to 2. Meanwhile, Sixers center Joel Embiid is seventh at 14 to 1.
