Sixers send Luwawu-Cabarrot to Sevens for fourth time

The 76ers on Tuesday assigned Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot to the Delaware 87ers for the fourth time this season.

The rookie swingman will join the Sixers' NBA Development League affiliate to play in Tuesday night's game against the Oklahoma City Blue at the University of Delaware. Luwawu-Cabarrot finished with 16 points, six rebounds and five assists in the 104-95 victory.

He first went down there on Nov. 15 to practice with the Sevens. Then Luwawu-Cabarrot was sent down to play against the Greensboro Swarm on Nov. 21. He finished with 14 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 116-111 victory at Carpenter.

His third assignment was on Nov. 29 to play in that night's game against Grand Rapids Drive at Bob Carpenter Center. The French player finished with just one point on 0-for-2 shooting. He made 1 of 2 foul shots, failed to grab a rebound and committed five fouls during 10 minutes, 27 seconds of action in the 118-103 setback.

Luwawu-Cabarrot has averaged 2.3 points and 6.8 minutes in 17 appearances with the Sixers.
