PHOENIX –  The 76ers reacquired point guard Ish Smith in a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday. However, Smith wasn't with the team at Saturday morning's shootaround at Talking Stick Resort Arena.

"We expect him tonight," coach Brett Brown said of the contest against the Phoenix Suns. "I could be wrong.  That is not 100 percent certain. But I believe that I am going to see him tonight."

Don't be surprised if he gets some playing time agaiinst the Suns.  The Sixers are known for playing acquisitions on the same day they physically joined the team.

"We haven't even seen him," Brown said. "But I think our runs are on the board of how we usually handle those situations."
