Do you get bored easily with your workout or have you been looking to switch up your fitness routine with something new, but afraid of the commitment? Well, Body Cycle Studio and Fit Academy have the perfect solution for you.
On Saturday, September 12 at 1 p.m. and then again at 1:30 p.m., they are offering The Body Fit Experience, a 3 for 1 workout, all for just $30. With a spin session, group run and outdoor boot camp at the Art Museum steps, you'll enjoy a high intensity workout with lots of variety.
The Body Fit Experience starts at the Body Cycle Studio on 19th and Chestnut Streets for 15 minutes of cycling then you will run as a group to the Art Museum for the boot camp workout led by Fit Academy.
"The boot camp portion will be about 20-30 minutes," Osayi Osunde, founder of Fit Academy explained. "It will be a high intensity class and I want to make sure that newcomers get an original Fit Academy workout."
The whole experience will take about an hour. Once you have sweated your little heart out, you are then invited to head to Urban Saloon for Happy Hour food and drink specials.
On what inspired this collaboration with Fit Academy, Migdalia Gonzalez, marketing and media manager for Body Cycle Studio said, "Osayi took a class at one of our studios and was telling us about his boot camp and it felt like a good tie in."
Osunde told Philly.com that the collaboration is going to be a great challenge for those wanting variety in their workout. "It is good to meet people from other fitness areas. I always encourage my clients to try different modalities for total mind and body health."
If The Body Fit Experience is your first time spinning or going to a fitness boot camp, both Body Cycle Studio and Fit Academy want you to come back afterwards to experience full classes with them. If you enjoy the 15 minute introduction to spinning and want to learn more, Gonzalez encourages you to come back for a full class for free. Fit Academy also offers new clients a chance to experience a full outdoor bootcamp session with their free monthly classes.
