No, it is not baseball time just yet, but the Phillies are gearing up for their annual Phillies Charities 5K that will be held on Saturday, March 28. This USATF certified 5K which will benefit charity starts and ends at Citizens Bank Park with a loop through FDR Park. There will be live music as well as some Phillies surprises along the route, including an appearance by the Phillie Phanatic. Registration opens January 12th at 9:00 a.m. at www.phillies.com/5k.

"We are excited to welcome our fans back to Citizens Bank Park for the 5th annual Phillies Charities 5K," said Mary Ann Moyer, Phillies Race Manager. "From start to finish, this event is a great way for fans to show their Phillies spirit, all for a good cause."
Besides a finisher medal and a long sleeve tech tee and other goodies, all participants will receive a voucher good for two tickets to a Phillies On-Deck Series game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday, April 3 at 7:05 p.m. or Saturday, April 4 at 1:05 p.m. and another voucher also good for two tickets to a Phillies vs. Washington Nationals game on Friday, April 10 at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, April 11 at 7:05 p.m. or Sunday, April 12 at 1:35 p.m.
