Temple's Bob Keogh Advances To NCAA Championships In Hammer Throw

PHILADELPHIA - Senior Bob Keogh has earned a spot in the NCAA Championships hammer throw finals with a seventh place qualifying throw of 205-10 on Friday afternoon at Indiana University. Keogh placed in the top 12, thereby qualifying for the NCAA Championships held at Drake University.

PHILADELPHIA - Senior Bob Keogh has earned a spot in the NCAA Championships hammer throw finals with a seventh place qualifying throw of 205-10 on Friday afternoon at Indiana University. Keogh placed in the top 12, thereby qualifying for the NCAA Championships held at Drake University.

Keogh, a native of Willow Grove, Pa., made the cut of the top 12 athletes with his toss of 205-10. The senior held his own with the likes of Louisiana State's Walter Henning (3rd, 226-08) and Michael Lauro (4th, 217-09), along with Georgia's Justin Welch (5th, 215-06) and Florida's Jeremy Postin (6th, 214-07).
