Duke & Winston moving showroom to Center City, launching Spring/Summer line

After years of calling 2nd Street in Northern Liberties its home, founder Seun Olubodun is moving his storefront to a new 2,600-square-foot Center City location.

Duke & Winston has been one of Philadelphia's most prominent original brands since its launch in 2009. After years of calling 2nd Street in Northern Liberties its home, founder Seun Olubodun is moving his storefront to a new 2,600-square-foot Center City location – 1822 Chestnut to be exact.

"We outgrew our Northern Liberties store months ago!" said Olubodun in a press release. "This move was inevitable for the brand's continued success due to a need for a much larger space combines with Center City's highly desirable vibrant atmosphere and broad base of clientele." The store will host a soft opening on Wednesday, May 14 and a grand opening event on Wednesday, June 11.

Most recently, D&W experimented with a 3-month pop-up location in Bryn Mawr, PA. The residency, which ended in January, was such a success that they've mentioned "looking for a permanent space in the near future."

The Phila. brand's new Spring/Summer line is launching tomorrow, Wednesday, May 7. Fans can expect "t-shirt and tank styles locals know and love, as well as an expanded women's line. As always, the brand draws inspiration from Duke, who is the face and name of the company, but also historical elements combined with preppy and nautical themes." It can be found here tomorrow.
