It's Joan Rivers' job as co-host of E!'s "Fashion Police" to take jabs at the fashion faux-pas of stars, and occasionally, to directly target fashion figures. Her favorite being Anna Wintour.
Page Six reports Rivers, however, had some choice words for the Editor in Chief of Vogue at a Q&A for Internet Week in New York City this weekend. "Anna Wintour, just take your broom and stick it up your a--," the comedic Rivers said in response to those who take fashion too seriously.
This is not Rivers' first time sounding off against Wintour. She said to The Hill last summer, "Anna Wintour's Democratic fundraiser for $40,000 a plate is a little bit of an oxymoron. I think if you've got $40,000 to eat dinner, and Anna Wintour — who doesn't eat — already you shouldn't be a Democrat. You should be a Republican."
