Miss Demeanor, a women's clothing store that opened in 2010, is expanding to Philadelphia.
Shopping with your mom can prove challenging. Differences in age, style and, most importantly, budget, makes it hard to find a store you both like.
In steps Miss Demeanor, the product of one mother-daughter duo out of Cape May, New Jersey who sought to create a place where moms and daughters could both appreciate and afford things from the same store.
To the excitement of Philadelphian mothers and daughters, Miss Demeanor, which opened in 2010, is expanding to Philadelphia. A post on their Facebook page says that the women's clothing and accessory shop will be moving to East Passyunk at the end of the summer. The Passyunk Post reports that Miss Demeanor will be taking over the property formerly occupied by Tom's Prime Meats, an old butcher shop at 1729 E. Passyunk Ave.
Apparel prices start at around $20 and the store promises products at varying price points because, as the Miss Demeanor website says, "Mom isn't going to pick up the tab forever!"
