Alundra Blayze to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame
Former WWE Women's Champion Alundra Blayze will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame March 28, the night before WrestleMania 31.
Although Blayze had a pretty successful run with the WWE, most wrestling fans know here as Madusa, which is the name she wrestled under in the American Wrestling Association, World Championship Wrestling and for All-Japan Women's Pro Wrestling.
Born Debrah Miceli, she broke into the wrestling industry in 1986 with the AWA, where she won the promotion's women's title one time. She then jumped to All-Japan, winning the IWA World Women's Championship on two occasions.
In 1993, Miceli finally made her into the WWE, which was when she was rechristened as Alundra Blayze.
As Alundra Blayze, Miceli helped revitalize the women's division in the WWE and won the title three times.
She then made her way to WCW where she took part in one of the most infamous angles in wrestling history when she went on WCW television with the WWE women's title belt and dropped it into a trashcan.
Although the incident fractured her relationship with the WWE, she's apparently back in the good graces of the company and is set to receive its highest honor.
