WWE Survivor Series 2013 results: Roman Reins the lone survivor for his team in Survivor Series match

Cody Rhodes and Dean Ambrose began the match for their respective teams.

The two briefly went back and forth until Ambrose took firm control of Rhodes. Ambrose eventually backed Rhodes into a corner and put the boots to him. The referee attempted to pull Ambrose away from Rhodes, Ambrose argued with him.

While Ambrose was voicing his displeasures, Rhodes rolled up Ambrose and gained the pin fall, eliminating Ambrose.

After Ambrose's elimination, things quickly broke down between the two teams, which was highlighted by the Usos hitting dueling suicide dives to the outside of the ring.

Things eventually got back in order with Goldust and Antonio Cesaro being the legal men. Cesaro used the help of his partner Jack Swagger to cut the ring off from Goldust.

The Real Americans beat up on Goldust for a couple of minutes until the veteran used a DDT to halt Cesaro's momentum.

Goldust attempted to get to his corner, but Cesaro cut him off by picking him up like a sack of potatoes and slammed him.

Goldust took down Cesaro again and avoided Swagger to tag in Mysterio. Mysterio jumped into the match and immediately began working over Swagger.

Mysterio eventually hit Swagger with the 619 and sought the help of the Usos to eliminate him.

As soon as Swagger was eliminated, Cesaro jumped into the ring and quickly took control of one of the Usos

Cesaro eventually swung him around about 20 times before dropping him. After Cesaro dropped him, the Uso brother managed to tag in Rhodes while Cesaro was standing in the ring dizzy.

Rhodes rolled up Cesaro and gained the pin fall to make it 5-on-2 with only Seth Rollins and Roman Reins remaining.

Reins was next into the ring and took control of one of the Uso brothers. After taking a beating from the duo, the Uso brother was able to tag in his brother and pick up the pace for his team.

One of the Usos then went for a splash from the top rope, but Reins put his knees up to block it. After the counter, Reins hit the Uso with the spear to eliminate him.

Rhodes jumped into the ring and began hitting on all cylinders. Rhodes eventually hit Rollins with cross Rhodes, but Rollins managed to tag in Reins without Rhodes knowing.

After Rhodes hit the move, Reins had a spear waiting for him and gained the pin fall to eliminate Rhodes.

The other Uso was eliminated a short time later after Rollins hit his curb stomp finisher to even the odds.

On one side it was Goldust and Mysterio and on the other it was Rollins and Reins. Rollins went up against Mysterio and momentarily had some momentum, but Rollins quickly cut him off and tagged in Reins.

Reins used his power to toss Mysterio out of the ring. Mysterio barely beat the referee's 10 count and managed to avoid Reins charging at him for the spear.

Mysterio was unable to make it to his corner as Reins tagged in Rollins and cut him off. Mysterio somehow rolled up Rollins and eliminated him.

Suddenly, Reins was on his own against Mysterio and Goldust. Mysterio was still the legal man and was being worked over by Reins.

Mysterio eventually crawled to his corner and tagged in the fresher Goldust. Goldust came in the ring ready and took the fight right to Reins.

Goldust went for a number of covers, but Reins kept kicking out. Out of nowhere, Reins speared Goldust and gained his third elimination of the match.

Mysterio jumped into the ring and attempted another 619, but was speared by Reins and Reins earned his fourth elimination of the match and was the sole survivor for his team. The result of this match further cements that WWE has big plans for Reins.
