WWE WrestleMania 31: Sting loses to Triple H in first WWE match

Santa Clara, Calif. - History was made when Sting made his first-ever appearance at WrestleMania for his debut match in the WWE, but the World Championship Wrestling icon came up short against Triple H.

In a match that featured surprise cameos from D-Generation X and the original incarnation of the New World Order, Sting and Triple H put on an entertaining back-and-forth affair, but in the end, a sledgehammer helped Triple H defeat Sting in his first WWE match.

After the match was over, Triple H and Sting met in the center of the ring and shook hands in a show of mutual respect.
