WWE announces the return of Hulk Hogan, will serve as host of WrestleMania 30

Whatcha gonna do, brother? Apparently, host WrestleMania XXX.

That's what WWE announced Thursday when the company revealed that Hulk Hogan will return to the place where became famous for Raw this coming Monday and will serve as the host to WrestleMania in New Orleans.

"We are thrilled that Hulk Hogan has returned to WWE," WWE Chairman Vince McMahon said. "It's fitting to have him help us celebrate 30 years of WrestleMania and usher in a new era with the launch of the WWE Network."

Speaking of the network, Hogan is slated to appear on WWE Raw Backstage Pass Monday, which will air live exclusively on the network following Raw.

Hogan headlined numerous WrestleManias during his in-ring career with WWE, including the very first back in 1985. The peak of his career was arguably at WrestleMania III when he headlined against Andre the Giant in front of 93,173 people at the Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan, breaking the world indoor attendance record.

His appearance Monday will be his first in WWE since 2007.

"Words cannot express how excited I am to be back in the WWE family," Hogan said. "I only have one question for the WWE Universe: Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild as the host of WrestleMania 30?"
