WWE could announce locations for WrestleMania 31, 32 in the next month

WWE could possibly announce the locations for WrestleMania 31 and 32 within the next month or so, according to a report from PWInsider.com.

The report says that the WWE has been set on a location for months, but decided to remain mum on its decision.

It has been reported on multiple occasions that Philadelphia is not only in the running, but is a top contender to host one of the next two WrestleManias.

Philadelphia's only competition is reportedly Santa Clara, Calif., which will be the home of the San Francisco 49ers' Levi's Stadium.

It is believed that Santa Clara will be chosen to host WrestleMania 31 in 2015 because the venue will host Super Bowl 50 in 2016. WWE would rather not have to follow the Super Bowl in the same venue in a matter of months.

Since Santa Clara would receive WrestleMania 31, WWE is expected to choose Philadelphia to host WrestleMania 32 in 2016 at Lincoln Financial Field.

Philadelphia last hosted WrestleMania in 1999 at the First Union Center, which is now the Wells Fargo Center.

If Philadelphia does host WrestleMania, it could mean a big boost to the city's economy as WrestleMania 29 in East Rutherford, N.J. generated more than $100 million in economic growth for the area.

As previously reported, New Orleans, the site of WrestleMania 30 in 2014, is expecting a "windfall" from the event.
