WWE postpones live event in Hartford, Conn., cancels live event in Boston due to inclement weather
The WWE may rule the world of professional wrestling, but even Vince McMahon and company must answer to Mother Nature.
That's because the record amount of snowfall that's expected to hit the Northeastern part of the United States has forced the company to postpone its live taping of Monday Night Raw at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn. and outright cancel its Smackdown taping at TD Garden in Boston.
The current schedule is for the WWE to produce a live taping of Smackdown from the XL Center Thursday. Tickets purchased for Monday's event will be honored at the XL Center Thursday.
Monday Night Raw will still air live as regularly scheduled, but will emanate from the studios of WWE's world headquarters in Stamford, Conn.
Fans that purchased tickets to the show in Boston will either be able to exchange their tickets for the next show in Boston, which is scheduled for Saturday, June 27 or obtain a refund at the point of purchase.
