Games to Watch: EPL Boxing Day, Milan derby

Cardiff City at Liverpool

7:45 a.m. Saturday (NBCSN, mun2)

The holiday season is truly the most wonderful time of the year for English soccer fans. NBCSN will air 15 Premier League games between now and January 1. First on stage is Liverpool, led by red-hot forward Luis Suárez. He's the season's top scorer, with 17 goals in 11 games so far. Cardiff's hopes of an upset lie with ex-Red Craig Bellamy, now in his 14th season as a pro.

Manchester City at Fulham

10:00 a.m. Saturday (NBCSN)

City are undefeated in eight home games, but have won just two of their eight road games. They'll look to stalwart midfielder Yaya Touré for leadership as they head to London this weekend. Fulham is stuck in next-to-last place, but Costa Rican playmaker Bryan Ruiz is an underrated attacking talent.

Match of the Day

1:30 p.m. Saturday (NBC10)

With so many games on a Saturday in the Premier League, it can be hard to keep track of everything. NBC has you covered with a special edition of its highlights show, which comes to network TV for the first time this weekend.

AC Milan vs. Inter Milan

2:40 p.m. Sunday (beIN Sport)

The Derby Della Madonnina isn't just one of the best rivalries in Serie A, it's one of the best in the entire world. Milan is led by superstar forward Mario Balotelli, whose off-field antics are spectacular as his soccer skills. Inter is led by Rodrigo Palacio, whose nine goals are third-best on the Italian scoring charts this season.

Chelsea at Arsenal

3:00 p.m. Monday (NBCSN)

This London derby carries huge stakes for both teams, as Chelsea could take over first place from Arsenal with a win. Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger has never beaten his Chelsea counterpart, José Mourinho. Now would be the perfect time to end that streak if the Gunners want to win their first trophy since 2005.

Liverpool at Manchester City

12:30 p.m. Thursday (NBCSN)

The day after Christmas is the biggest day of the English soccer calendar. Boxing Day, as it's known there, is jam-packed full of big games. This clash of powers caps off a tripleheader on NBCSN, and it features the Premier League's two top scorers: Suárez and Manchester City's Sergio Agüero.
