From burger and brew pairings to seafood celebrations in New Jersey, this week will definitely get us out of our air-conditioned homes.

Shake Shack in University City l (3200 Chestnut St.) teams up with Brooklyn Brewery on Tuesday, Aug. 4 for a food-and-beer-pairing dinner. From 6 to 8 p.m., taste Shake Shack signature items such as burgers, hot dogs, and frozen custard each paired with a select craft brew. Purchase tickets here.
Beginning in August through Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 7) London Grill (2301 Fairmount Ave.) hosts its Lobster Month that is full of deals. Menu items featured include: lobster bisque, lobster Caesar, lobster ravioli, New England lobster roll, and whole Maine lobster. Hours of operation are: Monday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.; and Tuesday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Apples galore take over the Jersey Shore on Saturday, Aug. 8 during the Atlantic City Cider Social. Over 20 different alcoholic ciders from sweet to sour and local to imported, will be offered in unlimited samples at Caspian's Point (next to Gardener's Basin, North New Hampshire Ave.). if you're interested, you can either get unlimited pours at Session 1 (noon to 4 p.m.); or Session 2 (7 to 11 p.m.). For the weekend Shore-goers: Celebrate your Saturday, Aug. 8 with some brews and seafood during Cape May's 4th annual Craft Beer and Crab Festival. The Physick Estate (1048 Washington St.) will serve local summertime foods, including steamed crabs, shrimp, pulled pork, and more. Refreshing beers and mix drinks will be served throughout the event. The festival starts at 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The third installment of the Food Trust's Night Market takes over 35th and Lancaster Avenue on Thursday, Aug. 6. This lively street fest features the city's best food trucks ranging in all cuisines, as well musical acts and street performances. Night Market vendor newbies for this day include: Boba and Company, Hai Street Kitchen & Co., The Happy Hippy, Lunchbox, PB and Jams PHL, Streetside, and What's in This? Things get started at 6 p.m.
