My Big Gay Tacky Sweater Party

Coined as the "The Gayborhood's Tackiest Holiday Affair", The Bronzed Bee is presenting My Big Gay Tacky Sweater Party at U Bar (1220 Locust St.) Wednesday, Dec. 10th from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Attendees are asked to bring a toy to benefit Toys for Tots, and prizes will be awarded for best dressed. America's Next Top Model alum Cory Wade Hindorff, Brittany Lynn, and Bev will be on hand to judge the sweaters with Bronzed Bee owner Ashley Piotrowski.

Bianca Del Rio: The Rolodex of Hate Tour

Season 6 winner of RuPaul's Drag Race Bianca Del Rio storms into Philadelphia Wednesday, Dec.10th with her Rolodex of Hate Tour coming to the TLA ( 334 S. Street). No topic, or queen, is off limits for the newly proclaimed Joan Rivers of drag to read. With Del Rio's razor sharp humor and lightning fast wit that cuts deep into audience members and fellow performers alike, expect lots of laughs during this very special comedy engagement.

Merry Pissmas (and a Happy New Queer)

The queens who brought you Mischief Night are back at Tavern on Camac (243 S. Camac St.) on Thursday, Dec. 11th with Merry Pissmas (and a Happy New Queer). Pissi Myles hosts an evening of raucous and offensive humor, poking fun at all of your holiday favorites. Additional performances by Eric Jaffe, Mistor Fahrenheit, Cory Wade, Lili StQueer and Lazanya Ontre.

Mr. SEXO 2015

Mr. SEXO, a pageant for the gay/queer Latino community, is back at Woody's (202 S. 13th St.) Thursday, Dec. 11th. Hosted by Miss Philly Gay Pride Cyannie Famouz, GALAEI and PhillyGayCalendar sponsor this annual happening that has become extremely popular on everyone's social calendar. GALAEI created SEXO to highlight that everyone has a right to a healthy and pleasurable sex life regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or HIV status. The crowned Mr. Sexo will embody all these qualities, in addition to being extremely easy on the eyes.

Night of 100 Qweens

Brittany Lynn and Jeffrey Sotland, owner of Tabu Sports Bar and Lounge, have put together the greatest assembly of drag queens for Night of 100 Qweens, coming to The Trocadero Theatre (1003 Arch St.) on Friday, Dec. 12th. The goal is bring together enough drag queens to break the Guinness Book of World Records current record for the most drag queens to perform on stage at the same time. Also taking place will be the world's biggest drag queen selfie. All this is for a good cause of course, with proceeds from the event benefiting MANNA and OPAL, Philadelphia's new LGBT athletic league. There are way too many queens performing to list here, but one exceptional name on the bill is Phi Phi O'Hara, runner up from Season 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race.

LGBT Holiday Lighting

The Morris House Hotel (231 South 8th St.) is hosting a very merry and gay holiday tree lighting for the LGBT community on Saturday, Dec. 13th. The evening will be jam packed with drink specials, music, shopping and yummy food from the M Restaurant. PAWS will be there with furry friends available for adoption, and Christmas trees will be sold for $10 with all proceeds going to charity.

Gates open at 5:00 pm. Event is open to the public. No cover.

Back 2 Basics

Stimulus Philly is back at Tabu Sports Bar and Lounge (200 S. 12th St.) with party favorite Back 2 Basics on Saturday, Dec. 13th. Bringing all the ladies out of winter's hibernation, this promises to be the best blow out to the end year. With drink special galore and music provided by DJs Jovi Baby and Dior, the Stimulus ladies always know the recipe for a party's success.

Cover $5 before midnight. $10 after midnight.

QOTA at POPE

Queer on the Avenue returns Sunday, Dec. 14th at the Pub on Passyunk East (1501 E. Passyunk Ave.) for a Sunday funday soiree to give you some relief from the holiday madness. Metro Men's Clothing will be serving Hot Caramel Apple Cider and offering 15% to 30% off the entire store from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Philadelphia Gay Men's Chorus will also be there to sing some festive holiday music at the fountain at 8:00 pm.
