Bev's Black Friday Bitch Fest
Comedy queen Bev is bringing her bitch fest back, this time for a Black Friday Edition. On Friday, November 28th at Tabu Sports Bar and Lounge (200 S. 12th St.), Bev will be joined by a "plentiful cornucopia" of returning favorites and some exciting newcomers including Marti Gould Cummings, Lazanya Ontre, Elle Emenope, and Gemini Rose. Producer Josh Schonewolf said, "I hope everyone saved room for talent after a long day of eating because we have the Crème de la Crème of drag queens, performance artists, singers, and burlesque. A year into Bev's Bitch Fest and it truly has become the stage for the best and most exciting pool of performers that this city has. We're very excited and proud to officially kick off the holiday season, the right way." Sounds like holiday music to us.
Doors at 9:00pm. Show at 10:00pm. $10 cover.

Based on the unprecedented religious trial of the Reverend Frank Schaefer, Curio's new play is an assemblage of discrimination, defiance, love, family and passionate testimony. Performances are November 28th and 29th, as well as December 4th to the 6th. All performances begin at 8:00pm.
