Go hunting for treasure at the Kimmel Center

If you are a fan of shows like "Antiques Roadshow" and "Storage Wars," then you know the thrill of a good treasure hunt. On Saturday, Aug. 23, you will not want to miss the  2nd Annual Antique & Vintage Market at the Kimmel Center for Performing Arts in Center City. From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., 40 vendors will be selling antique and vintage pieces ranging from furniture to collectibles. You never know what you might uncover. This is the only indoor event of Phila Flea Market's outdoor season, so no matter what the weather outside you will be in air-conditioned comfort.

Phila Flea Markets hosts flea markets and specific antique and vintage markets through the months of April, May, June, September and October at different outdoor locations throughout the city. Each market offers something new with a wide variety of vendors. Some of their stops have included The Eastern State Penitentiary in Fairmount, Society Hill, and Sister Cities Park at Logan Square.
