There are so many fun things to occupy your Halloween weekend with. We wanted to make sure you didn't miss out on the best of the best before it was too late. Check out our number one picks for the up-coming ghoulish weekend:
THURSDAY: Night Train feat. The Deathset
Kung Fu Necktie
1250 N. Front St.
11 pm - 2 am
$5 entry (no advance tickets) (21+)
If you made it over to this years Mad Decent Block Party, you got the chance to experience the wrath that is The Deathset. These wild boys from down-under aren't afraid of anything and will probably accidently give you a black-eye if you get too close. Their spastic, electronic punk-rock is exactly what you'll need to start off your weekend right.
FRIDAY: BNNA CLPS Halloween feat. Drop The Lime
The Arena
7 W. Ritner St.
10 pm - 3:30 pm
Tickets (21+)
Time for the second course of our Halloween meal. The BNNA CLPS crew are getting extra large with this one bringing you Trouble & Bass's own Drop the Lime. The last time Luca Venezia was in the city of brotherly love, he was opening up for the Bacardi B-Live tour last summer. So it's about time we got a visit considering Philly's own Dirty South Joe is featured in their "Sex Sax" video.
SATURDAY: Making Time Halloween Freakout + secret after-party
The Barbary
951 Frankford Ave.
9 pm - 2 am
Tickets (21+)
The Making Time crew is getting extra weird for this one! Philadelphia artist, Yis Goodwin (aka NoseGo), is transforming all 3 floors of The Barbary for an out of this world visual Halloween experience. Futuristic sounds provided by the Dave P, Dave Pak, Miek Z, Rocktits Djs, Adam Sparkles, Pink Skull, and The Broadzilla Djs.
And the night doesn't end there! There will be an all-night rager/afterparty over at The OX going on until 6:30 am. And the good times roll on.
SUNDAY: Rad Hallow's Eve feat. L-Vis 1990 (18+)
The M-Room
15 W. Girard Ave.
18 + $15 // 21+ $10
Possibly one of the only 18+ events going on this weekend, Rad Summer Sundays turns on their spooky side to present a Rad Hallows Eve. The night features Flufftronix, D$J, AND special guest L-Vis 1990. The UK producer was last seen in our city performing at the Mad Division show at the Mausoleum (RIP). That was soo long ago! Don't miss your chance to catch him again on the night of all Hallow's Eve.
