With the World Cup craze in full force nowadays, so many people are getting into soccer, as well as playing it. Whether you're a seasonal fan, or an all around soccer lover, Pick-up Soccer Philadelphia is a great club to play with. Full of talent of all levels, this welcoming group plays games at UPenn's ever so sweet turf field on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. Can't make it on Wednesdays? The group also plays on Penn's turf on Sundays at 11 a.m.

Scrabble your opponent's mind with the Philadelphia Board Game Group. This meetup is an awesome way to show-off your skills in your favorite classics such as Battleship, Uno, Risk, and many more. This week's meeting is on Monday, June 2 at 7 p.m. during the celebration of Philly Beer Week at Standard Tap. Grab a pint, and put your game face on. You may not become the next Jacques Cousteau, but classes at Scubadelphia will sure give your marine skills a boost. This fun workshop invites everyone from beginners to novice to come by and learn fun ways to improve your underwater skills. Classes run every Sunday at 12:30 p.m., and teach scuba diving, spear fishing, and diving techniques.

Haven't found your Bachelor or Bachelorette yet? Speed Dating for Singles is a great way to meet that perfect fit and possibly land you in a future marriage. Test your charm at Fire and Ice on Tuesday, June 3 at 7 p.m. for a fun round of speed dating made specifically for 30-43 year olds.

Those who love to knit, stitch, or just talk fabric can join the Knitadelphians at Khyber Pass Pub on Wednesday, June 4 at 5:30 p.m. for a crafty time full of discussion and meeting others who share the same passion as you.
