We have brought you one glorious mega post about ::drum roll please:: PHILLY BEER WEEK! This amazing week of ales, craft, and fun events is going to kick off with some pre-party events starting on Beer Week Eve, June 2. The official week of Philly pride and beer glory begins on June 3rd and runs all the way to June 12th.

We've picked some pretty awesome events that will be going down across town. From walking tours to happy hours, meet and greets, and dinner specials! Scroll down and start your countdown for June 3rd!

X-Men First Class Quizzo Movie Release Party: The institute will be playing X-men movies all evening on their TV's and Wii booths. Winner of Quizzo gets two tickets to the midnight premiere of X-men that evening. Free soda and popcorn for quizzo players.

Philly Beer Week Welcome Party: KPP and Global Brewers Guild kick off PBW a night early with music and free brews. DJ Pipe Dope will be spinning all night long.

Khyber Pass Pub. 56 S. 2nd Street. 8pm – 2am.

Friday, June 3rd

Maudite Midnight Madness: This third annual event is put on by Devil's Den and Unibourne, Unibourne drafts will be available all night as well as drink specials and giveaways.

Devil's Den. 11th and Ellsworth. Midnight-2am.

Victory Brewing Company Beer Garden: (occurring all week!) Tir Na Nog will be having plenty of Victory beer on tap all week. Oh and its in 22 oz bottles!

Tir Na Nog. 1600 Arch Street. 11am – 11pm.

The Hammer Of Glory Handover Ceremony: Limited edition brews at Johnny Brenda's including: Dogfish Head Burton Baton, Dogfish Head Hellhound On My Tail Ale, Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron, Dogfish Head Midas Touch, Dogfish Head Midas Touch and Dogfish Head Festina Peche. You will want to be at this bar crawl.

3rd Annual PBW Kickoff Party: Starting at 2pm The Institute will be having the Voodoo Brewing. Around 6 pm there will be the monthly sculpture competition, winner gets a mixed 12 pack. At 9:30 pm, the Sour Mash Bluegrass band takes the stage!

Bacon. Beer. Brunch: Stephen Starr, what do you have up your sleeves?! The daily brunch specials will include the Insana Stout, which is a one of a kind bacon-chocolate beer. Try it on the Chocolate Bacon Beer Float. (Let us know how your stomach feels afterwards)

Continental Restaurant and Martini Bar. 2nd and Market. 10 – 4 pm.

Rock the Walk: El Camino Real is rocking out this afternoon and evening event. There is food, beer, and rock and roll. You don't need much else on a Sunday. Featured brews include: Flying Fish, Yards, and Stoudt's.

Shmaltz Brewing's "Freaks and (Beer) Geeks": Honestly, the title says it all! Head to the P.O.P.E. for this night of beer!

Pub On Passyunk East. 1501 East Passyunk Avenue. 7 pm – 1 am.

2nd Annual Beer Cocktail Competition: Watch out. The competition will be fierce with this beer cocktail mixing from Philly's best bartenders. Brews on tap include Dock Street's finest and Absolut Vodka will be present as well. Tickets to this event also include unlimited cocktails during the event.

Sunday, June 5th

Craft Beer Day on East Passyunk: Eight bars are going to be having craft beer specials all day ya'll!! Day drinking at its finest with this event, check out the bars on East Passyunk Ave: Cantina Los Cabollitos, P.O.P.E., Le Virtu, The Bottle Shop, Salt & Pepper, Sticks and Stones, Stogie Joe's, and Lucky 13. Craft beer and food specials all day long.

East Passyunk Ave. Let the craft beer commence at 11 am.

Phila Brewing Co. Bar Olympics: 12 Steps Bar Olympics! Meet and greet one of the owners from the Philadelphia Brewing Company as well!

12 Steps Down. 831 Christian Street. 7-10 pm.

Monday, June 6th

Flights and Finger Foods with Coronado Brewing Co.: Small plates and pints from the Coronado Brewing Co all day long! There isn't a better way to start the work week!

Prohibition Taproom. 501 N 13th Street. 12 pm – 2 am.

Dogfish Head Takeover and Moustache Contest: There are going to be 13 different kinds of Dogfish Head beer on draft. Victrola DJ will be spinning beats all evening long and will set the mood for the moustache contest that will be judged by the Dogfish Head moustache department. Who knew a brewery had such a department!

Resurrection Ale House. 2425 Grays Ferry Avenue. 2-6pm.

Beer Week with Potluck Tuesday: $3.50 pints all day at O'neals. Prizes and giveaways will also be in store all day!

O'neals Pub. 611 South 3rd Street. 11 am – 12 pm.

Taco Tuesday: The Nodding Head Brewery had so much fun with this event last year; they figured they might as well bring it back! Taco specials and special beers including Mole Grog, Agave-lime Berliner and Hibiscus-Bret Saison.

Hi-Neighbor! Happy Hour with Gansett: Every time you buy a Gansett brew, the owners will buy your next one! $1 Rhode Island Oysters as well!

Wednesday, June 8th

Global Brewers Guild Sampling: The Foodery will be hosting fun events all week, here's one we thought to share. For two hours, The Foodery will be sharing samples of Global Brewers Guild Brews including: 21st Amendment, Elysian, and Arcadia.

Sweet 16 of Craft Beers: Tir Na Nog's annual event! Each round with beer includes a plate of food! Trivia and prizes for the winners during the Sweet 16 event! You must call ahead to make reservations.

Beer & Bikes @ The Ben: Calling all bike riders, here is an event that is specifically for you! Enjoy a nice ride to the Ben Franklin and enjoy a food tasting with Bridge-themed beers. You must rsvp to mcget@aol.com. Remember safety first have a helmet, lights, and lock!

Beat the Heat with Wheat (and Bluegrass): 30 different wheat beers on 10 taps! Wheat beers include:  Hefe, Dunkel, and Berliner Weiss, Weizenbock, Eisbock, Gose, Saison, even Hopfenweiss. Bluegrass band Keystone Mountain Boys will be performing as well!

PBW Night Market Take Over: We wrote a little post about a couple weeks ago, the article speaks for itself and how awesome this edition of Night Market is going to be!

Vegan Food (and beer) Dinner: This is a five-course Vegan dinner that is paired with a different Vegan craft beer for each course!

PBC Gong Show: Head on over to Standard Tap if you think you can handle the ever so intimidating giant gong! Do your best or you will get thrown off stage! The sign ups begin at 7:30 pm and the fun begins at 8!

Friday, June 10th

Huge Beer Event: 14 hours of high gravity beers. We hope your liver can handle it!

4 Horseman of the Beerpocalypse: The end may be near, might as well drink some beer! Taking over the taps this evening will be with Left Hand, Weyerbacher, Troegs and Yards! Great specials and great food!

Semi-Annual Clearance Event: The Institute has been serving up PBW beer all week and now they want it out of their bar! Help them clear out their stock during brunch with 50% off all beer on tap!

Sixpoint Record Fair: The P.O.P.E. will be holding a record fair and beer tasting throughout the day! Each time you purchase a drink from Sixpoint you earn a raffle ticket for a drawing to an upcoming show (show is TBD) from R5 productions and Village Green Entertainment!

Kickin Kegs and Eatin Eggs Party: Have the best brunch and kegs at Varga bar. Wake up early and celebrate the end of Philly Beer Week!

Sloppy Seconds Weekend!: The Good Dog is having their traditional end of beer week specials and everything is at a ridiculously low price!

TTUD – That Totally Unnecessary Drink: This is gonna be a banger for the end of Philly Beer Week! Head to Fergie's Pub and hang with I.P.A. and all of the local breweries for one massive karaoke show. Break it down with special brews from the Sly Fox Brewery!
