#PhillyFive Things to Do: Dec. 2, 2014

We can hear you hooting and hollering from here.

We can hear you hooting and hollering from here.

For a country estate Christmas: Winterthur Museum's (5105 Kennett Pike, Winterthur, Del.) all dolled up for the season and you're invited to see the estate and take part in traditions. See the exhibit between 9:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. today.

For crafts: Make sure your family's holiday cards are one-of-a-kind this season with this hand-printed cards class at Wayne Art Center (413 Maplewood Ave., Wayne, Pa.). For two hours, starting at 4 p.m., kids will learn printmaking skills and leave with a set of handmade cards.

For a history lesson: In conjunction of the release of "Insurrections of the Mind: 100 Years of Politics and Culture in America," a collection of essays covering major milestones in American history (civil rights, technology, the New Deal, etc.), Franklin Foer, editor of The New Republic, comes to speak at the National Constitution Center (525 Arch St.) at 6:30 p.m.

For laughs: Former MTV host, funnyman and one-time Drew Barrymore hubs (never forget the early-2000s), Tom Green takes it to the stage at Helium Comedy Club (2031 Sansom St.) for a 7:15 p.m. show.

For an anniversary: Celebrating ten years since the release of Mmhmm, which spawned the hits "Be My Escape" and "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been," pop-punkers Relient K relive the glory days at the TLA (334 South St.) at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
