For Friday the 13th, these events don't look particularly scary.
For a lunchtime show: Local ice skaters show you what it looks like to be a skilled skater with their tricks and twirls at this 12:30 p.m. skating exhibition at Rothman Ice Rink at Dilworth Park (1400 JFK Blvd.).
For tips: Flirting is a science. Or an art form. Square One Coffee (249 S. 13th St.) hosts matchmaking expert Kristi Price from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for a night of flirting strategies so you'll be sitting pretty by next Valentine's Day.
For dinner and a show: After a romantic pre-Valentine's day meal at the Delaware Museum of Natural History (4840 Kennett Pike, Greenville, Del.), settle into the 1950's during a mystery wedding adventure. Take your pick at either a 6 p.m. or 10 p.m. session.
For Broadway with a twist: Taking all the famous show tunes you know, "Forbidden Broadway" will spoof the biggest songs from Les Miserables, Wicked, Mamma Mia and more at 7:30 p.m. at Ocean City's Music Pier (Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace, Ocean City, N.J.).
For the whole gang: 50 Cent and G-Unit — comprised of Kidd Kidd, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck — come to the Electric Factory (421 7th St.) giving us all the 2003 hip hop vibes for an 8:30 p.m. show.
