Who needs malls and movies?

For a combo: What do you get when you combine a St. Patrick's Day celebration, an art class and brunch? This event at Maggiano's Little Italy (12th and Filbert Streets), running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For history: Get in-touch with fashion of the colonial days. In honor of Women's History Month, meet Sarah Melton, high-end 18th century dressmaker, at Betsy Ross House (239 Arch St.) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For a lunchtime show: Take a break from the delicious fare at Reading Terminal Market (51 N. 12th St.) for a free concert from traditional Latin American and Caribbean folk ensemble Magdaliz and her Trio Crisol from noon to 2 p.m.

For planners: The animal types looking to say "I do" at the Elmwood Park Zoo (1661 Harding Blvd., Norristown), can head there for a wedding expo, featuring local caterers, venues, florists, bakeries, DJs and more from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
