The weekend is in sight.

The weekend is in sight.

For tales: Puppeteer Jim West brings Aesop's fables to life at a 10 a.m. puppet show at the Sellersville Theater (Main St. and Temple Ave., Sellersville).

For a dinner: It's all-craft everything. Craft beer, artisan grilled cheeses. Dream come true at World Café Live at the Queen (500 N. Market St., Wilmington). Starting at 6 p.m. pairings like Yards Saison and Old Bay cheddar on brioche, with a mini crab cake will be offered.

For a screening: Come to the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania (3620 Walnut St.) for a 7 p.m. screening of "The Mask You Live In," a documentary following boys and young men as they traverse different gender stereotypes throughout adolescence.

For a finale: The citywide literacy initiative "One Book, One Philadelphia" wraps up with a talk from Christina Baker Kline, author of "Orphan Train," the program's chosen novel. Philadelphia Orchestra cellist Udi Bar-David and composer and percussionist Rolando Morales-Matos will perform as well at this 7:30 p.m. event at the Free Library of Philadelphia's Central Branch (1901 Vine St.).

For a green time: Tree Philly is stoked to mark their seventh season of giving out free trees. Celebrate with them at 8 p.m. at Yards Brewing Company (901 N. Delaware Ave.) for beer and tree-related games.
