This isn’t Radio Clash, this is radio Keane.
Friday night, piano wielding Brit-poppers Keane will take over the airwaves of WXPN at 9pm. Not only will Tim, Tom and Richard play the music of some of their favorites like Blur, Grizzly Bear and Jeff Buckley, they’ll be playing live in the studio.
Keane released their newest album, Perfect Symmetry, last October and moved away from straightforward piano rock/pop and started using some more retro instruments like analog synthesizers. Friday night, the band will also be playing songs from their other records Hopes and Fears and Under the Iron Sea.

Other "Y-Rock Radio Takeovers" have seen the Dandy Warhols, Dr. Dog, Weezer, Paul Weller and Ben Kweller. Be sure to tune in on Friday night.
