One of the longest-running New Year's Day traditions hits the streets of Philly again with costumes, music, dancing and other merrymaking: That's right, it's Mummers Parade time. Here are all the important details.

Time
Set your alarms (or keep the party going), the parade kicks off at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 1.

Route
For the first time this year, the parade will begin at Dilworth Park (15th and Market Streets) and head down Broad St., where things will wrap up at Washington Ave. Following the Fancy Brigades' course through the route, they'll perform at the Pennsylvania Convention Center (1101 Arch St.) at noon and 5 p.m. for the Fancy Brigade Finale.

Where to watch
Staging area (JFK Blvd. between 16th and 22nd Streets): Before they get to the judging area, see the Mummers warming up and getting some extra rehearsal in.

City Hall (15th St. and JFK Blvd.): This is where the official judging goes down.

Union League (Broad and Sansom Streets): Performances will take place here.

Kimmel Center (Broad and Spruce Streets): From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., warm up with a wealth of family-friendly activities like magicians, face painters and stilt walkers.

Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts (Broad and Carpenter Streets): More drills here, too. Also food trucks, a DJ and more.

At home: PHL 17 brings you the best of the parade without having to leave the comfort of your home/bed. You can even stream online.

Ticketed seats
Stick around Dilworth Park and grab one of the 1,200-bleacher seats, available for $20 if you call 1-800-537-7676 or pick them up in person at the Independence Visitor Center (6th and Market Streets) or the Welcome Center (16th St. and JFK Blvd.).

In order to see the performances slated for the Fancy Brigade Finale (at noon and 5 p.m. at the Convention Center), you'll want to purchase some tickets — ranging in price from $20-$25. 11 clubs will don their costumes and props for top-notch acts for audiences and judges.

Sneak peek
From now until Wednesday, Dec. 31 the Convention Center is offering a behind-the-scenes look into the parade with floats on display and a special dress rehearsal performance at MummersFest.
