Did Justin Bieber just beat Questlove in a drum battle?

Questlove has been named one of the best drummers of all time, but that didn’t stop singer Justin Bieber from going toe-to-toe with The Roots' percussionist not once, but twice on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Questlove has been named one of the best drummers of all time, but that didn't stop singer Justin Bieber from going toe-to-toe with The Roots' percussionist not once, but twice on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

Fallon arranged a rematch between Bieber and Questlove on Wednesday night after the pair engaged in a showdown back in 2010. Even then, a teenage Bieber showed he knew what he was doing, but the formerly embattled pop star's musical maturity shone as he matched Questlove's pace.

After Bieber's flashy finish, Questlove walked off stage, acknowledging defeat. Though his music rarely shows it, Bieber has been playing drums, he says, since he was 2 years old.

Despite the playful blow to Questlove's pride, Bieber later performed his new single, "What Do You Mean," with The Roots on "Fallon."
