Ron Burgundy's scheduled appearance on Thursday evening's SportsCenter on ESPN has been canceled in light of a press conference regarding Florida State University quarterback Jameis Winston. Winston was accused of sexual assault a year ago and an announcement at an afternoon press conference is expected to include information about whether or not Winston will face charges in the case.

ESPN's director of communications, David Scott, announced on Twitter that the network had bagged Burgundy's appearance.
