Mo’ne Davis joins Harlem Globetrotters, schools Washington Generals

Mo'ne Davis joined the Harlem Globetrotters on Sunday and scored five points for the team.

Even though she rose to national prominence because of her topnotch baseball pitching, Mo'ne Davis has said that basketball is actually her best sport. As an eighth-grader, Davis plays for Springside Chestnut Hill Academy's high school varsity basketball team.

Then there was the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game in which Davis owned fellow Philadelphian comedian Kevin Hart on the court. This prompted Hart to joke that he wanted the fastball-pitching Taney Dragon tested for substances.

And on Sunday, the ever-losing Washington Generals tried to recruit Davis to sweeten the odds against the Globetrotters with futile results. After taking the court in a Generals jersey, Davis quickly switched sides and ultimately scoring five points for the Globetrotters.

With an unchallenged three-point shot and two-point drive, Davis has yet again proven she's a force to be reckoned with in any arena.
