Despite his taking the time out to get the Trump National Golf Club approval from the Township of Bedminster, N.J. to build a family cemetery, Donald Trump may not actually want to be buried there.
Despite his taking the time out to get the Trump National Golf Club approval from the Township of Bedminster, N.J. to build a family cemetery, Donald Trump may not actually want to be buried there.
In fact, the business mogul might want to be buried in Florida instead, a representative from the Trump Organization told a municipal Land Use Board. Trump will still build the cemetery his organization fought for years to build, although Trump himself might not be buried there.
Trump Organization representative Ed Russo said Trump National Gold Club members and veterans can opt to be buried at the cemetery, though NJ.com reports that the private cemetery was originally intended to be used by Trump and his family.
Trump first applied for the approval of the cemetery in 2007, The Star-Ledger reported. The request was not approved by the Land Use Board until September 2013 and allows for no more than 10 gravesites.
