VIDEO: North Carolina principal cancels school with Vanilla Ice cover

The principal of North Carolina's Durham Academy and his trusty assistant decided to get a little creative when they realized that they were going to have to cancel school (again) because this whole winter thing is still hanging around and making everyone's lives miserable.

The principal of North Carolina's Durham Academy and his trusty assistant decided to get a little creative when they realized that they were going to have to cancel school (again) because this whole winter thing is still hanging around and making everyone's lives miserable.

So, instead of sending out a memo or reading from some archaic script, Durham Academy Head of School Michael Ulku-Steiner and Assistant Head of School/Upper School Director Lee Hark teamed up to deliver a wonderful rendition of Vanilla Ice's hit, "Ice, Ice Baby." They changed some of the lyrics to inform students and faculty about the weather and subsequent closing.
