It was, of course, an uncomfortable moment on Monday's episode. Bad, even — like, William Shatner doing "Rocket Man" bad. But you've really got to admire the guy's pluck.
After all, it could have been worse. The last time Trebek rapped on-air in January 2014, he treated us to several Jeopardy!-ized versions of tracks like "Juicy" by the Notorious BIG, "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash, and "Timebomb" by Public Enemy, among others.
Oddly, though, Trebek's version is still just a little better than the rendition Will Smith pulled out on Ellen in back in February. After all, we could look away from that one.
