Watch: Joe Sestak hip checks two toddlers on the 4th of July
Earlier this year, when Democratic Pennsylvania Senate candidate Joe Sestak began a 422-mile walk across the Keystone State, we all knew it was a matter of time before someone got hurt.
When Democratic Pennsylvania Senate candidate Joe Sestak began a 422-mile walk across the Keystone State earlier this year, we all knew it was a matter of time before someone got hurt.
And on July 4, that moment finally arrived.
Sestak found himself at the Marple-Newtown July 4 parade in Newtown Square on Saturday, when he suddenly (and literally) ran into a pair of toddlers along the parade route:
GOP PAC America Rising was following Sestak at the time, subsequently posting the above video to Vine, where it has garnered more than 45,000 plays. In it, bystanders can be heard exclaiming "Jesus Christ" and telling Sestak to "watch it" as he bowls over children in two separate incidents.
Currently, Sestak is trailing behind in polls against incumbent Pat Toomey, who defeated Sestak in his last Senate run in 2010, by as much as ten percent.
Lucky for him, the kids Sestak mowed down can't vote (yet). Their parents, though? That's another story.
