Will Arnett joins Michael Bay's 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' abomination

Remember everything you loved about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Well, forget it all because Michael Bay's on a mission to destroy all of it with his re-imagined saga of the crime-fighting reptiles. He's hellbent on tarnishing the Turtles' legacy by changing the backstory to make them aliens and casting Megan Fox as April O'Neil EVEN THOUGH ANNA KENDRICK WAS INTERESTED. Bay probably won't even include a Vanilla Ice rap in his take on the series.

The latest news regarding the forthcoming abomination is that Will Arnett has joined the cast.

Arnett's role is being kept secret, though still uncast from the Ninja Turtles mythology are Splinter, the turtles' sensei rat, and the villainous and masked Shredder. Arnett is not playing the turtles' human friend Casey, another role that has yet to be cast.

Great. I love Gob Bluth as much as the next guy, but saving this project is probably beyond his reach, even if he is wearing a $6,300 suit.
