Airline mergers, part ..... (a continuing theme)

In another development, missed earlier this week, United and Continental said thay may try to reach integration agreements with employee labor groups before completing a planned, hoped-for merger. More ...

And United CEO Glenn Tilton expressed optimism that the deal with Continental would be approved by federal regulators.
